RULES: 1. This Tournament shall be sanctioned and open to all members of USBC and TNBA. The tournament shall operate under the RULES of USBC and TNBA. 2. Non-USBC members may enter the Tournament by paying an unattached membership fee of $21.00 ($10.00 National, $10.00 Local and $1.00 State). Non-TNBA members may enter by paying a $15.00 membership fee. 3. The tournament will run for two weekends, beginning on March 20th and ending on March 28th. Closing date of tournament will be March 28th at 5:30 PM. Squad times are for weekends in March: Saturdays: 20th and 27th 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00, 4:30 and 6:00pm Sundays: 21st and 28th 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 4:00 and 5:30pm 4. This is a doubles Tournament with optional singles. The bowler’s double scores will be used for their single scores. Teams may consist of two women, two men or mixed. A minimum of two teams constitutes a squad. For an additional $15.00 per person a bowler may bowl with additional partners on the same squad. 5. All entrants must use the highest USBC 2008-2009 season yearbook average with a minimum of 21-games. If no book average, use highest current USBC sanctioned average based on a minimum of 21-games as of the date of participation in this tournament. Participants must present league-standing sheet to tournament director prior to bowling in this tournament. All others will bowl scratch (220). If your current average is ten pins higher (21-games or higher) than your 2008-2009-yearbook average at time of participation you must use your current average. All winners’ averages will be VERIFIED before payout. 6. It shall be the Bowler's responsibility to verify the accuracy of his/her average. It shall also be the bowler’s responsibility to inform the Tournament Directors if he/she has been re-rated or adjusted. Failure to use the correct average or inform the tournament directors of being re-rated or average adjusted shall disqualify the score. There will be no return of entry fee/fees on DISQUALIFICATIONS. 7. Handicap Ratio: Men and Women 100% of 220. Max handicap 85 pins per game. 8. All teams will bowl three games on the same pair of lanes with total pins plus handicap deciding the tournament winners. 9. USBC rules 319a, 319b, 319c, 319d and 319e will APPLY. 10. Re-entries are permitted. Bowl as often as you wish but you can only cash once with the same partner. Bowlers may cash only once in the top 10 position of each Singles division. 11. Itemized entry fee per bowler: $13.50 prize fund, $11.50 lineage and expenses. Total $25.00 per bowler. Crossover Doubles - $13.50 prize fund, $1.50 expenses. Prize fee will be returned 100%. Prize monies will be paid on a ratio of 1:8 after proposed prize fund payout is met (at least one place for each eight entries). Entrants must pay their entry fee ($50.00 per Doubles Team) before beginning competition. NO CHECKS! Proposed payoff shown below is based on Doubles 175 and 75 Singles entries in each division.
12. Optional Open and Female handicap singles payout will be based on entries. Also available is OPTIONAL OPEN DIVISION SCRATCH SINGLES - $15.00. Entry fee $15.00, $13.00 prize fund, $2.00 expenses. 13. The decision of the Tournament Directors shall be final on any and all disputes unless an appeal is made in accordance with rule 329. 14. The Tournament Directors reserves the right to disqualify any entrant not in compliance with the rules of USBC and TNBA. 15. All other USBC and TNBA rules will apply. 16. Additional squads may be added if lanes are available; but no entries will be accepted after 5:30pm on March 28, 2010. |
